Banking and finance
We assist you in complaints concerning private individuals' contractual relationships with a bank, finance company, mortgage company or fund management company.
The same applies to disputes with foreign financial institutions, which offer similar services in Norway. We also assist you in complaints against an investment firm when the dispute concerns investment advice.
In banking and finance, we can only process complaints from consumers, ie we cannot assess complaints from businesses. In disputes concerning unauthorized payment transactions (misuse of payment cards), it is the finance company that has the right to appeal, cf. the Financial Contracts Act § 37 (2) b.
